Technoswitch Appointed as an FST Distributor

Fire and Security Techniques (FST) and Technoswitch recently completed the signing of a landmark back-to-back distribution agreement. This partnership will give each company access to each other’s products for distribution. This is of particular significance for FST, with the imminent launch of their online shop.

The appointment of Technoswitch as an FST distributor for their range of fire suppression solutions forms part of the company’s strategic plan to expand its distribution network across the African region.

Neil Hughes, FST CEO, said that  “Our company is extremely excited to be taking on board such a renowned and dedicated partner in the fire industry as Technoswitch during this stage of our growth strategy. Together with our other distribution platforms and partners, we can now take FST to the next level, whilst remaining confident that we will maintain the high level of quality and support that our customers have come to appreciate”.

Brett Birch, General Manager, at Technoswitch, noted that “Technoswitch’s goal was to identify and secure a beneficial relationship with a reputable local fire suppression technology provider. We are very excited to be partnering with Fire & Security Techniques, as they are a company that has a very similar DNA to that of Technoswitch. Both companies have strong local manufacturing, supplemented with respected international brands that they distribute. Fire & Security Techniques will benefit from our extensive footprint in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa and our sales force will drive penetration of the FST product offering into the market. In addition, we will be able to offer FST customers technical support and training throughout the region”.

Given the similar business model adopted by both companies, this partnership bodes well for the fire industry and promises to offer a huge product range, together with the delivery of unprecedented levels of quality, service and support.
