E-Bulb
About 30% of all fires are caused by electricity, many of them in electrical appliances. The E-Bulb can be installed directly into the electronics by manufacturers and protects your electronics from damage when it would otherwise be too late. The E-Bulb is a Circuit Interrupter with Fire Extinguishing Agent (CIFEA, UL 60692) , which in its smallest version is just 2 cm tall. This makes the E-Bulb the smallest fire extinguisher in the world.
Quality-conscious manufacturers have been bringing safe products to the market for years. The causes which can lead to a technical defect, and possibly fire, can never be completely excluded. Around every third fire is caused by electricity, many from electrical appliances.
The E-Bulb can be built directly into the electronics by manufacturers, and protects you from further damage when it otherwise would have been too late. It is a fire protection solution that is built into devices to extinguish electrical fires at the source.
If an electrical device develops a technical defect, the E-Bulb can detect the fire, extinguish it, and prevent it from reigniting. The E-Bulb functions as a fire prevention solution for electronic devices.
- Developed by Job and produced in Germany, E-Bulbs are patented high-tech glass bulbs that burst thermally, i.e at a predefined temperature, releasing a special highly effective extinguishing agent that immediately extinguishes the fire inside the device. What is special about this is that E-Bulbs tackle the fire where it occurs, namely the electrical system, which can start due to faults in electronics. Normally a fire can only be extinguished when the device is already visibly on fire. E-bulbs react faster because they are located in the immediate vicinity of the potential fire source, therefore preventing the spread of fire.
