The AMFE detects and extinguishes a fire inside devices, equipment and appliances, preventing the spread of a fire.
The thermally activated glass bulb initiates a spring orientated mechanism, opens the attached extinguishing agent cylinder and extinguishes a fire without the need for external controls or power.
The heavy-duty cylinders are manufactured in Germany for robustness and safety. The cylinders carry the PI’ mark indicating the compliance with ADR/RID 1.8.7.6.
Used in small electric cabinets up to 1.5m³. With monitoring and remote activation capabilities, the AMFE can be used as an electrical cabinet fire suppression system.
We are the appointed distributor of the AMFE in the SADC region.
