On the 30th of November and the 1st of December 2022, Fire and Security Techniques in conjunction with Technoswitch held a Fire Suppression expo at the premises of their mutual distributor, Shield Electricals.
Both days were well attended by members of the fire protection industry which included Fire Consultants, Mining Engineers, and representatives of Fire Detection and Suppression installation companies with each day attracting over 45 people.
Both Chris Tarbuck, Managing Director of FST, and Hendrik Cloete, General Sales Manager of Technoswitch, held workshops and gave presentations on various products supplied by them and the latest trends in the industry.
Live demonstrations were conducted in the car park of both Vehicle and Kitchen suppression systems as well as simulated and actual ECKOSHIELD 227 and ECKOSHIELD 1230 gas suppression releases.
Based on this success we are determined to make this an annual event, both in Botswana and other African regions.
